Access is allowed from 8.30pm to 11.30pm, ticket costs 5 euros. It is a truly evocative visit, allowing you to see rooftops and towers from a completely different perspective.
The next day, September 3, the traditional acchianata starts at around 9 pm, that is the night pilgrimage of the faithful of Santa Rosalia who walk up the slopes of Mount Pellegrino to the patron saint’s sanctuary, to celebrate her on her feast day. This is an interesting opportunity to get in touch with one of the most deepfelt palermitan traditions.
